Yes, there is a willow in Harvey, too ~ more than one, I suppose, but this is a public one by the water. It is not so majestic as the one I left behind at the Lazy Wheels Mobile Home Park, but it has this glory ~ that I can stand a long ways behind it without stepping on someone's trailer house.
It also has a sandy beach where my grandchildren have played, and where I have visited with friends.
I love the view of the third picture. You are right, nothing is as majestic as the willow by the river, that tree is AMAZING and a best kept secret, since it is in a mobile home park. Glad to see you're enjoying ND.

Hi Nita, That willow is the place where the Harvey Gospel Chapel has the priviledge to publicly baptize in the name of the Lord. In fact we have fond memories of that particular tree as Dan my son was baptized on October 1, 2006 in those chilly waters, directly in front of that tree, less than a month after we moved to harvey. The love of the saints contrasted with the water as they were warm and inviting!
